PCMflash – 74 Module Toyota / Lexus 3rd generation Activation

Software license/activation module: This isn’t a physical device itself, but a software activation that you buy and register to your PCMflash USB dongle (hardware key).

Purpose: It enables the PCMflash tool to communicate with certain Toyota/Lexus ECUs (ECU = Engine Control Unit) from the 3rd generation Toyota/Lexus family, letting you perform professional ECU operations such as:

• Reading (RD) ECU firmware/data

• Writing (WR) modified firmware/data

• Checksum verification/correction (CK) – important for safe ECU reprogramming
  These functions are supported on ECUs that use the Denso R7F701202/R7F701216 microcontrollers via the P5‑UDS protocol.
