PCMflash – 22 Module Renault Activation

• The PCMflash 22 module is a software activation/license that enables PCMflash to communicate with certain Renault ECUs (engine controllers).

• It’s not a physical tool by itself, but a software module tied to a USB dongle (security key) that must be activated so PCMflash will perform operations on supported Renault engines.

Activation is not automatic — it usually must be done by the vendor you bought the module from:

1. Install drivers for the USB dongle (Guardant drivers) before connecting the key.

2. Use the GrdTRU utility (provided with PCMflash) to generate a request file from your dongle.

3. Send that request file + your dongle’s serial number + order info to the vendor. They generate an activation file/code.

4. Apply the activation code in PCMflash’s settings — the module becomes usable.
