Alientech – KESS3SAB01 – KESS3 Slave – FULL OBD Protocols activation

KESS3 is the newest generation ECU tuning interface from Alientech for reading and writing ECU data on vehicles via OBD (On‑Board Diagnostics) or other methods.

The Slave version is a client configuration: it cannot create or supply its own tuning files — instead it must be paired with a Master tuning provider who supplies the corrected/modified ECU files.

Key Points

• License only: It’s software activation, not the physical hardware. You need the KESS3 hardware unit for this activation to work.

• Slave mode: You depend on a Master tool or Master tuner to provide tuning files; you can’t generate your own files from scratch in Slave mode.

• OBD functionality: With this license, your tool supports all OBD protocols that Alientech offers for the Slave side (different markets/ECUs).

• Subscription: Typically includes a period (often 12 months) of updates from Alientech — essential to keep up with new vehicles or protocol changes.
