The KESS3SA006 activation is a protocol license for the Alientech KESS3 tuning tool that enables bench/boot programming for bikes, ATVs, and UTVs in Slave configuration.

“Bench/Boot protocols” allow the KESS3 device to communicate directly with an ECU removed from the vehicle and accessed at the hardware pins, as well as in normal boot mode, instead of just via the vehicle’s OBD port.
