Abrites ZN059 – VAG VDO Cluster Adapter

The ZN059 adapter is a specialized hardware tool used with the ABRITES AVDI diagnostic system to enter service mode on certain VAG instrument clusters (dashboards). It’s specifically designed for VAG‑branded vehicles (Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Skoda, etc.) that have VDO dashboards with a NEC processor and use the UDS communication protocol.

Required Extras

• AVDI Interface: You must have the AVDI diagnostic interface with an active subscription/AMS to use this adapter.

• Power Supply Adapter: A separate ZN063 12 V/1 A DC power adapter is required to power the unit (this is not included).

 Compatibility & Protocol

• Dashboard Type: Designed for VDO instrument clusters equipped with NEC processors.

• Protocol: Works with UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) — a modern diagnostic protocol used in many late‑model vehicles.
