BitBox Bosch MG1 / MD1 BENCH [SM2 only]

This is a software activation / ECU programming module from BitSoftware designed specifically for bench reading and writing of Bosch MG1/MD1 engine control units (ECUs). “Bench” means the ECU is removed from the vehicle and connected directly to a programming tool rather than accessed through the car’s OBD port.

Key Features

• Enables reading and writing ECU firmware (flash and EEPROM) for Bosch MG1 and MD1‑series ECUs.

• Supports automatic MCU type and file size detection.

• Automatically fixes checksums during programming.

• Works only when connected on a bench setup (ECU out of vehicle).

 Requirements

• Scanmatik SM2 or SM2 Pro hardware is required to use this module. It does not work standalone.

• The ECU must be connected via a bench adapter with automatic power management (like SM2 bench cable, BITS001, Powerbox, etc.).
