Jaltest JCS – 70810011 Reset of EEPROM memory and Deutz EMR4 – EDC17 CV52 counters

Purpose of the Function

Depending on application, this service can be used for:

• Clearing ECU internal stored data (EEPROM handling)

• Resetting specific internal counters

• Supporting advanced calibration or replacement procedures

Deutz EMR4 systems and SerDia tools manage EEPROM and counter data such as engine hours and internal ECU values.

In Deutz SCR-equipped engines, similar reset procedures may also be required after power limitation due to crystallisation events.
