Module 62 is specifically designed for VW / Audi / Seat / Skoda ECUs that communicate using:
- TP2.0 (Volkswagen Transport Protocol 2.0)
- KWP2000 (Keyword Protocol 2000 – ISO 14230)
These are older diagnostic/flash communication protocols used mainly in VAG vehicles (especially older CAN/K-line based ECUs).
Important notes
- Not for modern UDS-only ECUs (those need other modules like MED17/EDC17 UDS modules)
- Incorrect use can brick the ECU
- Usually requires stable battery voltage + correct protocol selection
