MMCFlash – Module 57: TCM Powershift 6DCT250

This module is specifically used for Ford Powershift dual-clutch transmission control units (TCU/TCM) with the 6DCT250 gearbox (commonly found in Focus 3, Fiesta, Mondeo in some markets).

 Main purpose

Module 57 in MMCFlash is used to read and write calibration data in the TCM (Transmission Control Module) for the 6DCT250 gearbox.

Important notes

• This module is for transmission tuning and calibration work, not engine ECU
• Incorrect writing can cause:
  • Gearbox limp mode
  • No shifting / no drive
  • TCM corruption (brick risk)
• Many operations may require stable voltage and sometimes bench/OBD depending on TCM version
