GromCalcTool 0177 Module RENAULT MEGANE III, SCENIC III, FLUENCE, LATITUDE, LAGUNA III CRASH RESET

Main function

This module is designed to:

• Read SRS (airbag) memory
• Erase crash (accident) data
• Restore airbag ECU to “virgin / no-crash” state
• Allow reuse of original airbag module after accident repair

In practice, it resets the airbag controller so it no longer stores:

• Crash event flag
• Deployment status
• Locked SRS state
  

  Important notes

  • It is only for airbag ECU data reset, not engine or ABS.
  • After reset, the module usually still requires:
    • Fault clearing with diagnostic tool (Renault CLIP / equivalent)
    • Checking crash sensors, seat belts, and power supply
  • If hardware inside SRS ECU is damaged, software reset will not fix it.
