Renault Emulator – Steering Lock Emulator Simulator For Laguna 2 2001-2005 ESL ELV

What it does

In your Laguna 2, the ESL/ELV unit is part of the immobilizer system. When it fails, common symptoms are:

• Car won’t start even with a working key card
• Ignition turns on but engine does not crank
• “Steering lock fault” / “anti-theft system” messages

The emulator replaces the signal of the faulty steering lock, telling the car’s ECU that:

“Steering lock is unlocked → start is allowed”

How it works

• You unplug the original steering lock connector
• Plug the connector into the emulator
• The emulator sends the correct “unlock” status to the car

No coding or programming is usually required.
