Abrites EM004 – Video in Motion CAN Filter 125k

The ABRITES EM004 – Video in Motion CAN Filter 125k is a small CAN‑bus filter/emulator device used in Mercedes vehicles to enable the “Video In Motion” (VIM) function when the vehicle’s coding or diagnostics (SCN) do not allow that function to be activated normally.

Compatibility

The EM004 is designed for Mercedes vehicles where the video CAN bus runs at 125 kbit/s, specifically models with certain multimedia modules:

• Mercedes M‑Class (2011–2015) — W166 with NTG5s1 module (Panasonic)

• Mercedes GLE‑Class (2015–2019) — W292 with NTG5s1 module (Panasonic)

Vehicles with video CAN at a different speed (e.g., 500 kbit/s) require a different filter (like EM005).
