Abrites – HK012 – KIA / HYUNDAI VIN Calibration

Main Function

The HK012 license enables you to write or recalibrate the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) inside vehicle modules so they can match the car.

Typical cases:

• Installing a used ECU / ECM

• Replacing a dashboard / cluster

• Installing a used VCU in EV vehicles

• Replacing eCall (telematic) modules

• Fixing VIN mismatch errors

Without correcting the VIN, many modules will not communicate correctly with the immobilizer or other ECUs.

Requirements

To use HK012, you must have:

• ABRITES AVDI interface

• Active AMS (Annual Maintenance Subscription)

• Latest ABRITES Hyundai/KIA diagnostics software
