  Requirements & Setup

  To use this functionality you need:

  Hardware:

  • Abrites AVDI diagnostic interface (with active AMS/AVDI subscription)

  • Optional recommended accessories like the CB026/FBS4 ELV connection cable or AVDI distribution boxes for easier LIN diagnostics.

  Software:

  • ABRITES FBS4 Manager module with MN033 license enabled

  • Link the AVDI to the vehicle’s ELV diagnostic line (LIN), either through OBD port or directly on a bench.

  Once connected and recognised, the software lets you read the current ESL error and then execute a “Repair” command to clear the fault and unlock the ESL.
