Abrites – SW Update from BN010 to BN015

BN010 was an older ABRITES software license/module for key‑learning by OBD for BMW vehicles (covering many E‑series and early F‑series).

BN015 is the newer, currently supported* version of that same software license. The BN015 license expands the functionality, most importantly adding:

• Key programming by OBD for BMW F‑Series with FEM/BDC modules including BDC version 85 and higher — this covers newer BMW models not supported in BN010 by OBD.

• Retains all previous E‑series and earlier F‑series supported functions (depending on your hardware & AMS subscription).

  Requirements & Notes

  To use the BN015 functions after updating:

  ✅ AVDI interface with an active AMS subscription (ABRITES Maintenance Subscription) is required, otherwise the software won’t run these functions.
  ✅ You may need the PROTAG programmer and proper OBD/ENET cables for key programming functions on some BMW vehicles.
  ✅ The upgrade does not automatically update the Abrites Diagnostics software itself — that’s separate (keep your online app updated).
  ✅ After license update, the key‑learning functionality supports newer BDC85+ modules by OBD, which BN010 couldn’t perform.
