The TA31 is a small hardware adapter designed to help automotive locksmiths and diagnostic technicians with specific security‑related tasks in key programming workflows.
Key supported functions:
✔️ Extract PIN codes from Hyundai & Kia vehicles – helps pull the immobilizer PIN needed for key programming when you have a working key and are using Abrites software and a ProTag programmer connected to the PC.
✔️ Extract the 7th byte of Component Protection in VAG cars – the last missing byte needed to generate the full Component Security (CS) required for VAG (VW/Audi/Seat/Škoda) key programming.
✔️ Clone Hitag 2 transponders – lets you transfer a Hitag 2 ID from the original to the TA31 device (used with Tag Key Tool).
