Abrites VN017 – Component Protection Manager Software Activation

Abrites VN017 is a software module developed for professionals working with vehicles from the VAG group (Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Skoda and some Lamborghini models). It’s part of the suite of special functions used with the ABRITES AVDI diagnostic interface.

• Activation Emails or Serial Entry: You’ll usually provide your AVDI serial and email during purchase so the license can be delivered/activated.

• Resellers: Many shops/resellers (e.g., tlkeys, MK3) sell VN017 activation as a digital software license.

• Active Subscriptions Needed: If your AMS or VN002 license lapses, VN017 may stop working — keep subscriptions current.

• The functionality itself ties into VAG’s own Component Protection system — a safety/security feature that blocks unauthorized module swaps. VN017 helps manage and remove those protections legally and with proper licensing.
