Once activated on a compatible KESS3 Master device, this protocol allows you to:
✅ Read and write ECU data off‑vehicle (Bench mode)
✅ Access internal ECU memory by opening the unit (Boot mode)
Both modes are essential for in‑depth tuning or diagnostics that go beyond standard OBD access.

 Master vs. Slave Version

• Master version (like KESS3MA008) allows you to create or modify tuning files independently, read and write original ECU files, and use multiple file providers.

• Slave version is more limited: reads data and writes ECU files only when paired with a Master tool that provides file modifications.
