What “Read KeyID Fob” does

When you connect SmartFi 2 to the motorcycle’s SCU/ECU, this function allows you to:

• Read the unique Key ID (transponder ID) from the smart key fob
• Identify which keys are currently registered in the system
• Retrieve the key code needed for adding new keys or all-keys-lost recovery
• Check synchronization between FOB ↔ SCU (Smart Control Unit)
  

  Important note

  This function is part of immobilizer/security programming, so it only works when:

  • Correct cable/adaptor is used
  • SCU is supported (Honda, Yamaha, Piaggio, etc.)
  • Sometimes original key or sync conditions are required
