AutoVEI – D2051S8001 – DC2 Operations by Direct Connection 2U tool

D2051S8001 (DC2 License) activates the functions that allow the AutoVEI system to communicate with ECUs through the DirectConnect 2 hardware instead of normal OBD.

This means you can:

• Perform bench programming of ECUs

• Access ECUs when OBD communication is not possible

• Use special service modes like BSL / ISP / JTAG depending on ECU

• Run advanced read / write operations supported by other ECU-specific licenses.

  Communication / Programming Modes

  Using DC2U you can access ECUs through several low-level modes:

  • BSL (Boot Strap Loader)

  • ISP

  • TriCore Bootloader

  • Motorola BKG

  • NEC serial boot

  • SPI / UART communication

  These modes allow reading or writing firmware even if the ECU software is damaged.
