AutoVEI – D2451S0065 – MB MCM2.1 – MCM2.1 – Flash & EEPROM Read / Write by OBD / DC

This is a software license add‑on for the AutoVEI Truck Explorer tool that enables reading and writing the Flash and EEPROM memory of the Mercedes‑Benz MCM2.1 ECU (engine control module) via the OBD port or DirectConnect (DC) connection—with no ECU removal required.

Requirements to Use It

To actually use this license you need:

• A compatible VEI programming device (e.g., VEI V6, V7, or V8 main unit).

• Truck Explorer software with the license activated.

• The DirectConnect 2U tool and appropriate adapter cables such as DC2U‑MCM/ACM and DC2U‑ISP7 for BSL mode if needed.

• In some cases an internet connection is required for certain MCM2.1 hardware versions (like D4/D5) during read/write.
