Autovei DC2-FFR cable

The AutoVEI DC2-FFR cable is a special bench connection cable used with the AutoVEI Truck Explorer / DirectConnect2 (DC2 / DC2U) tool to communicate directly with the FFR module in MAN trucks.

Main Purpose

It allows direct ECU access (bench or DC mode) for the MAN FFR control unit, which manages vehicle functions such as body electronics and immobilizer pairing.

Key Functions

Using this cable with the DC2 / DC2U interface you can:

• Read / write FLASH memory

• Read / write EEPROM

• Program or add keys for MAN trucks

• Pair ECU modules (e.g., EDC7 ↔ FFR)

• Perform IMMO operations

• Recover modules via BSL mode

These operations can be done through OBD, DC (Direct Connection), or BSL modes depending on the ECU and license.
