BitBox MB Delphi Diesel CAN

BitBox MB Delphi Diesel CAN is a software/hardware module used mostly by professional tuners and automotive technicians for working with Mercedes‑Benz diesel ECUs (engine control units) that use Delphi CRD hardware. It’s part of the BitBox suite of ECU reflashing/chip‑tuning tools.

• Read & write ECU flash — It lets you extract and re‑inject software/calibration data from the ECU over the vehicle’s CAN bus via the OBD diagnostic port.

• Checksum correction — When writing back modified maps (e.g., for tuning), it automatically handles internal checksum fixes so the ECU accepts the data.

• Supports specific Delphi CRD ECUs — Different FID codes correspond to specific model ranges (e.g., CRD2.xx, CRD3.xx) and microcontroller types like Infineon TriCore or MPC5566.
