BitBox Module PSA Diesel CAN

The module enables reading and writing of engine ECU (Electronic Control Unit) firmware/calibration data over the CAN bus (Controller Area Network) — typically through the vehicle’s OBD2 diagnostic port.

It supports Delphi and Bosch diesel ECU families used commonly by PSA Group vehicles (Peugeot & Citroën):

• Delphi DCM6.2A

• Delphi DCM7.1A BSL

  Key Features

  • Identification of supported PSA diesel ECUs via CAN.

  • Reading ECU memory (typically calibration/flash sections).

  • Writing flashed data back into the ECU with checksum correction, which is required to ensure the ECU accepts the new data.

  • Works with J2534 compatible interfaces like Scanmatik or OpenPort when necessary for some ECU types.

    Typical Use Cases

    • Performance tuning (remapping): after modifying calibration files (.bin or similar), tuners use this module to upload changes.

    • Repair or restoration: restoring original calibration after maintenance or replacing an ECU.
