BitBox Moto / Extreme Denso Virtual Reader

• Identification: It reads the software ID/version from compatible Denso ECUs via the K‑line diagnostic interface.

• Virtual Reading: Instead of physically reading the ECU’s internal flash memory (which normally requires drilling into the ECU housing to access AUD port pins), this module retrieves the firmware file (“stock file”) virtually from the BitBox server — if BitBox has that file in its database.

• No Writing: This specific module does not support writing/modifying firmware back to the ECU — it’s purely for identification and software extraction.

How It Works in Practice

1. Connect your diagnostic interface (e.g., BitBox with a J2534 adapter like Scanmatik SM2/SM3).

2. Use the module to identify the exact software in the ECU via K‑line communication.

3. If BitBox’s server has a matching firmware file, the module will let you download that file to your system.

4. You cannot write back any data or perform reflashing with this module alone.
