BitBox Trucks / Industrial Bosch EDC17CV41

BitBox Trucks / Industrial Bosch EDC17CV41 is a software module for the BitBox tuning and diagnostic system from BitSoftware.

It lets you read and write ECU calibration data (e.g., fuel maps, boost targets, limiter values) on supported trucks and industrial machines that use the Bosch EDC17CV41 ECU.

Communication with the ECU is done through the OBD2 connector using the CAN‑bus protocol.

Technical Details

• The target ECU platform (EDC17CV41) typically uses an Infineon TriCore TC1797 microcontroller and has about 4 MB of internal flash memory.

 Important Considerations

• Some supported vehicles are 24 V systems (common in trucks/industrial machines). For those, you must use a J2534 adapter that supports 24 V or work with the ECU on a bench power supply instead of directly in the vehicle.

• A BitBox USB security dongle and correct activation/license (e.g., product number MK23067) are required for the software to work.
