What the Clixe BMW 2 – Airbag Emulator Does
- Designed to simulate the passenger seat occupancy/airbag sensor, mainly for diagnostic or bench‑testing purposes.
- Works with many older BMW models, including E36, E46, E87, E90, E60, E63, E65, and others from roughly 1997–2007.
- It “emulates” the seat occupancy sensor signal so that the ECU sees a constant occupant presence and doesn’t throw an airbag fault code.
- Comes with a resistor (typically ~680 Ω) to be inserted into the seat belt plug to mimic the correct electrical signal.
