GromCalcTool 0106 Module Honda SRS RH850 (R7F701xxx) Crash Reset

What it does

• Resets crash data stored in Honda SRS/airbag modules
• Works on ECUs based on Renesas RH850 family (R7F701xxx series)
• Removes “crash locked” status after airbag deployment
• Restores module to a reusable/virgin-like state (software level reset)
  

  Important notes

  • It is not a “scanner reset” (like OBD tools) — crash data is stored in non-volatile memory
  • In many Honda systems, crash data cannot be cleared via normal diagnostics tools
  • Some ECUs may still require:
    • EEPROM/flash read-write access
    • Bench/boot mode connection
    • Correct pinout and power setup
