GromCalcTool 0152 Module TOYOTA / LEXUS TRW TRICORE CANBUS CRASH RESET

Overview

This module is part of the GromCalcTool / ProByte ecosystem and is used for resetting crash data (SRS/airbag ECU) in Toyota and Lexus vehicles equipped with TRW airbag modules based on Infineon Tricore TC2xxx processors.

It works via CAN-BUS communication, meaning in most cases:

• No manual EEPROM desoldering required
• Direct ECU communication via diagnostic interface

Main function

• Reads SRS status via CAN
• Clears “crash event” / “deployment recorded” flags
• Resets module to “virgin / ready state” (software-level reset)
