GromCalcTool 0182 Module VOLVO MVBM CRASH RESET (FS32K148) CAN BUS (Bench)

Module Purpose

This module is part of the GromCalcTool/ProByte suite and is used for airbag / battery management module (MVBM) crash data reset on Volvo vehicles.

It specifically targets:

• Volvo MVBM (Battery / Energy Management Module)
• MCU platform: NXP FS32K148
• Communication: CAN BUS (Bench mode)
  

  Important technical notes

  From real-world cases (forums & tool documentation):

  • Even after “Crash Clear = OK”, errors may remain if:
    • There is internal hardware fault (e.g. B1662 MVBM HW FAULT)
    • Battery cell voltages are outside range
    • Relay or power stage is damaged
    • Module is in permanent fail-safe mode
