I/O Terminal Multi Tool Opel / GM BCM Activation

Preparation

• Tool Required: I/O Terminal Multi Tool device.
• Connection: OBD-II connector compatible with Opel / GM vehicles.
• Vehicle State: Ignition ON, engine OFF (unless specified otherwise).
• Power Supply: Ensure the car battery is sufficiently charged (≥12.4V) to avoid interruption.

2. Connecting the Device

1. Plug the I/O Terminal OBD Cable into the vehicle’s OBD-II port.
2. Connect the other end to the Multi Tool.
3. Power on the Multi Tool.
4. Wait for the tool to detect the vehicle automatically.

3. Selecting the Module

1. From the main menu, choose “BCM / Body Control Module”.
2. Select Opel / GM from the brand list.
3. Choose the exact BCM type (based on your vehicle’s ECU info).
