OBDSTAR ELV Data Collector – MQB Collector

Cars built on the MQB platform use advanced immobilizer and security systems involving the:

• ELV (Electronic Steering Lock Vehicle) module

• TCM (Transmission Control Module)
  These systems store synchronization and immobilizer authentication data required when programming new keys or performing “all keys lost” procedures.

Instead of removing the ELV module from its housing (which can be difficult and time‑consuming), this collector connects via the dashboard connector to:
✅ Retrieve ELV/TCM sync data directly
✅ Upload that data to a server to calculate the vehicle’s immobilizer (IMMO) codes
✅ Support key programming when all keys are lost or during module replacements
