PCMflash – 29 Module Ford PWM Activation

The PCMflash – 29 Module Ford PWM Activation is a software licence/activation module for the PCMflash ECU/TCU tuning software that enables work specifically on Ford engine control units using the PWM communication protocol. It isn’t a standalone device — it’s a software-level module that, when activated, unlocks functionality inside PCMflash for supported Ford ECUs.

Purpose & Function:
Once activated on your PCMflash licence (via a USB dongle), Module 29 provides the ability to:

• Read ECU data (RD) – extract calibration/program files from Ford PWM ECUs.

• Write ECU data (WR) – flash new calibration/program files back to the ECU.

• Checksum verification/correction (CK) – automatically check and fix checksum integrity on compatible ECUs during read/write operations.
  These functions are essential for ECU remapping, tuning, backup, repair, and diagnostic tasks on PWM-type Ford systems.
