PCMflash – 44 Module Scania EMS S7 / S8 Activation

It’s a software activation/license key (often called Module 44) for the PCMflash program that enables communication with Scania EMS S7 and EMS S8 ECUs found on many Scania diesel trucks.

The module must be activated using PCMflash’s USB dongle/key before it can be used.

Supported Scania Systems

The module supports multiple variants of Scania EMS engine management systems:

• EMS S7 250 kbps (MPC563 controller) – Read/Write/Checksum

• EMS S8 250 kbps & 500 kbps (MPC5566 controller) – Write/Checksum (and read in certain configurations if directly connected)

• EMS S8/EMD1 500 kbps – Also supported with direct ECU connection.
