PCMflash – 45 Module MB Sprinter 906 / 909 EDC16CP31 Activation

The PCMflash Module 45 is a software module for the PCMflash tuning/programming platform that adds support for reading, writing and checksum handling of the Bosch EDC16CP31 ECU found in:
• Mercedes‑Benz Sprinter 906 (2.2 L CDI EDC16CP31‑6)
• Mercedes‑Benz Sprinter 909 (2.2 L CDI EDC16CP31‑8)
• Dodge Sprinter 906 (3.0 L CDI EDC16CP31‑6)
It supports RD/WR/CK (read, write, verify/checksum)

Activation Requirements

To activate Module 45 you need the following:

1. PCMflash Software + Activation Key
   • After purchasing the module (e.g., from a reseller like Scanmatik Europe or MK3), you’ll receive an activation form where you enter your email and USB dongle serial number.

2. USB Dongle (Security Key)
   • The software module won’t work without a USB hardware key (dongle).
   • One dongle can be used to activate multiple modules once they are tied to that key.

3. Compatible Interface Cable
   • Typically you use a J2534‑compatible interface for communication with the ECU (e.g., Scanmatik, Mongoose Pro, Tactrix Openport 2.0).
