PCMflash – 81 Module JLR gearbox Activation

The Module 81 – JLR Gearbox activation enables PCMflash to:
• Connect to and read flash and EEPROM from certain automatic transmission control units used on Jaguar/Land Rover vehicles.
• Write and modify flash and EEPROM contents (e.g., for reflashing or tuning).
• Verify and correct checksums on these blocks, which is essential when modifying calibration or software.

It is not a hardware interface itself – you still need the PCMflash USB dongle (Guardant‐style hardware key) and the appropriate cables/interface to connect to the vehicle.
