Porsche 911, 997, 987 Boxster, Cayman, Carrera 2005-2012 Steering Lock Emulator Simulator

This is a steering column lock emulator used on Porsche models (FBS3 platform) to bypass a failed electronic steering lock (ELV/ESL).

It is commonly used when the original steering lock unit fails and prevents the car from starting.

What it does

When installed, it:

• Replaces the original steering lock electronic signal
• Tricks the ECU into thinking the steering lock is working
• Allows the car to start even if ELV is faulty
• Prevents “steering lock failure / start error”
