What it is used for
The SVG 149 cable is designed specifically for:
- NEC dashboard clusters (VDO / VDD)
- All Keys Lost (AKL) situations
- Immobilizer/key programming when no working key is available
It connects the SPVG tool directly to the cluster to enable data access in service mode, allowing key recovery/programming without soldering.
Important
- It is not a standalone tool — it only works with SPVG / SuperVAG system
- NEC and MICRONAS use different cables (SVG149 = NEC, SVG157 = MICRONAS)
- Incorrect use can corrupt dashboard EEPROM if procedures are not followed
