What is BMW ECU Clone Authorization Software?
It’s an activation license/token that enables ECU cloning functions in the Yanhua ACDP tool.
- Official name: BMW ECU Clone Authorization (A51C License)
- Works with: Yanhua Mini ACDP-1 & ACDP-2
- Purpose: Enable DME cloning + ISN handling
Without this license, your ACDP cannot perform ECU clone operations.
Important Notes (Very Critical)
- ECU must be same model & hardware number for cloning
- Original ECU must still be readable/communicating
- If ECU is completely dead → you need ISN extraction method, not cloning
- Always perform full backup before writing
